Sorry for the delayed reply. When I tested it today, it still works fine for me. I can see the default home environment. However, I tested this again with Mojave as I mentioned in the prerequisites. I am not sure what could be the exact cause for your problem. If you figured a the cause, feel free to share it here. Might help someone if they face a similar problem.
